Poundland finds in September

Well known beauty brands seem to be popping up in Poundland's throughout the land. Brands including Revlon, Rimmel, CK, Sally Hansen, Milani and Sue Moxley can be found by any bargain seeking shopper. With a price tag of a mere £1, parting with your money has never been simpler. In all bargain places you will find some true gems and some barely sell-able items.

Here are a few things I picked up on my last visit. In the back of my mind I'm always thinking, " How are these products only £1?!" Then the question of shelf life and hygiene plus bacteria creep in..... Personally, (or the way my mind has justified me buying these products) I think it's OK if you choose carefully. I mean there are some nail varnishes that are, quite frankly in a horrendous state.

Rimmel lipstick in 220 Pink Chic
I love this shade and admittedly I would not purchase this colour if I had to pay the retail price of £6.49.

Revlon polish in Mysterious

I haven't seen this polish in shops and bought  it because well, I simply cannot say no to another blue nail varnish.  The retail price is £6.49.

Rimmel eye-shadow in Spicy Bronze

I already own another shade called 'Smokey Quartz' and I love the texture and colour pay off so hopefully this shade won't let me down. This retails for £4.49.

Sue Moxley eye shadow in Matte Shade 3

I have never tried any of the Sue Moxley eye-shadows, the Sue Moxley section in Superdrug is always poorly maintained and the products in brand don't seem to change. I would really like to know how much this brand takes, can't be much. If you ask me, the space could be better utilised and possibly make way for another brand. I digress.... I wanted a brow bone highlighter and found white to be far to harsh a contrast to my Indian skin. I think this should do the trick.

Calvin Klein cream eye-shadow in Gold Velvet

I've been looking for a purple cream eye-shadow after my disappointment with the Maybelline colour tattoo in 'Endless Purple'. This is more of a mauve shade and has a deeper undertone with would be great for teaming up with a shimmery plum shadow for autumn.

All in all, I'm happy with my purchases.

Have you found any Poundland treasures?

Thanks for reading !
