I venture into buying a new skin care routine with an
open mind, however that fresh mind set soon dissolves. Now just a little bit
about me, I am incredibly indecisive. There is too much choice out there! I
can’t even deal. Firstly, I decide upon the benefits I want from my new
skincare products and that’s about it……Not really an in-depth plan. There are
so many ‘new’ ingredients available on the market I simply cannot keep up. So I
went back to basics with vitamin E. The Bodyshop does a great range that has
worked fabulously for my skin.
I use the Vitamin E overnight serum in oil, face mist
and eye cream. Also a fairly recent purchase that I'm loving is the new Eyes
Cube, which comes in a stick form and is quite cooling for the eyes.
The Bodyshop Vitamin E range |
The face is mist is really hydrating and it is an instant relief for my tight skin after cleansing, oily skin problems. It gives me just the right amount of moisture and I couldn't be without it.
The eye cream is lovely. I find that my concealer glides on more easily because it is quite moisturising. I do feel that it stops my concealer caking throughout the day.
The serum in oil is perfect for my skin type. The oily-ness becomes more serum like once massaged into the skin. My skin feels soft and nourishing especially in the morning.
The Eyes Cube is very hydrating and cooling. I use this underneath the eye cream to add extra hydration. There are shimmer particles that help reflect the light and make you look less tired. This doesn't really work for me as I place my concealer on top.
Although I have oily skin I think that’s it important to moisturise. The range works really well for me and I also feel that it’s actually doing something for my skin as opposed to just lying on the surface.
I would love to hear you thoughts and opinions…….
